Directly under Loveland Peak, a mountain in northwest Montana, is a small farm nestled in the timber above the Clark Fork River. The farm is but one segment of a multifaceted approach to enhance the emotional development of young people and their families. Cedar House, Wilderness Expeditions
and Aurora present a life-style base on an educative model affording individuals the opportunity to realize emotions and behaviors that have disrupted the family structure.
Welcome to our little corner of Montana as viewed through cyberspace. Sherry and I want to make your visit productive by making it easy to get your questions answered. We understand that many of you have not gotten to this place without feeling a good deal of frustration and stress. Thus, we have attempted to guide your visit here based on what we would want to know if one of our three children were in need of this type of intervention. Our premise is simple and can best be described if you remember your past. At one time or another in our lives we have all tried to catch a butterfly. Frequently, unless we are equipped with a net and a good pair of running shoes, they often just eluded us. Trying to figure out the emotional problems that creep into our lives or the lives of our children is very similar. The increased effort seems to result in additional frustration and distance from those we love.
